The house burned down.
On Monday, 7 September, at 4.30 in the morning, a fire destroyed the family house in Riacho He Hé, Formosa. The flames took most of the home and everything inside it.
Norma died in that fire. Her husband got out, but he inhaled a great deal of smoke and today his lung capacity is at 50%. He is in treatment and needs time and care to recover.
These are the photographs of that night and of what was left. They appear here once, because anyone who is going to help needs to know what happened, and they do not appear again on the rest of the site.

Before the fire
What is needed now
The house has to be rebuilt. It is a job the family cannot take on alone.
That is what this campaign is for: to raise what is needed and to rebuild the house.
Thank you to everyone who came close, wrote and is standing with us at this time.
